I have exciting news to share! Hope in the Healing debuted just a little over eight weeks ago and I am so thankful for all of you that have encouraged and supported me to keep writing. I started the blog as an avenue to share faith and the love of God, give hope and encouragement to those that are suffering and hurting and hopefully even provide some laughs and chuckles along the way.
I have made some incredible friends in the world of blogging! My dear friend Brooke Keith, at Grace Alone blog, http://laurabrookekeith.wordpress.com/ is a wonderful author of many children’s books and a writer for several Christian magazines. She befriended me early on and has been a great inspiration. She submitted a couple of my articles to her publishers at Internet Café Devotions, and much to my surprise, they have asked me to join their team! I am now on “staff” with this wonderful group of ladies. I am in awe of their abilities and anxious to learn from some of the best Christian writers in the business!
Nothing will change with Hope in the Healing! I will contribute just one devotional a month to ICD so I will still be writing my own blog as usual. I am also excited to be a part of the editing staff when needed.
Today is my “opening day” on the site and my “He Heals Me, He Heals Me Not” is the featured article!
You can find mystory at www.internetcafedevotions.com and my bio at http://internetcafedevotions.com/2003/04/nannette-elkins/

I can’t believe I missed this one. Bless your sweet heart. I’m not sure I am deserving of such kind words. But thank you for thinking so highly of me. I am so thankful that God brought us together Nannette. I know you are going to bless so many people through your words. 🙂
Thank you Ellen! YOU are an encouragement to ME! Thank you for your support, it has meant so much these past few weeks! I value and appreciate our friendship, you are a blessing! Praying for you today and every day…
Congratulations Candacejo!
What wonderful news, I couldn’t be happier for you! Your blog has been great from the get-go with encouragement and lovely stories to make you smile…
They are lucky to get you! 🙂
You are so sweet and one of those super encouragers who have meant so much to me!! Thank you Amy!!
Like, like, LIKE!!! Yay, Candace Jo!! I am super proud of you!! I cannot wait to check it out!!
Hey, you are everywhere today and I am honored!! Yes I am definitely the newbie! My husband has been after me for years to write, I never had the nerve or confidence. But the Lord seriously convicted me once I have gotten to the place I can no longer do anything else of late. So I took that leap of faith, and in obedience reached out to hopefully help others that were in chronic pain, those that were suffering loss, or just hopefully lead people to Christ somehow! And have some fun along the way 🙂 I met Brooke Keith from Grace Alone, she is a wonderful children’s author and also writes for Internet Cafe and CBN and numerous other outlets. Sweetest girl!! She sent my “stuff” in and as Sally Field said, “They liked me!” 🙂 Just hope they don’t change their mind! Blessings to you, pray you get back on your feet!! Looking over your recipes, Oh my word, that is one blog I could not afford to have!!
Congrats! I had no idea that your blog was so new, but I’m so happy that I found you on SRT when I did! God’s words, spoken through YOU, have definitely been of such comfort to me. I’m thankful for you and we don’t even know each other! God bless you girl. You’re awesome!
